Advancing On

So I started a Flickr account for Times And Chimes. I'm not sure if it will affect business, but I've seen a lot of people mentioning Flickr in the Etsy Forums. If nothing else, it is another opportunity to make connections with people, and to find more unique handmade items for myself! There are sooo many photos on Flickr! You can browse around and search for almost anything at all!

Do you remember the days of film and film developing? So many rolls just never made it to the store- just sat in a drawer and began to disintegrate. Technology amazes me. What we do each day on Etsy was absolutely unheard of in the not-so-distant past! Just look how far we've come!

  1. Great idea to post on Flickr! I have heard that it's a wonderful way to promote! Need to do that myself.

I've tagged you for a meme game I hope you'll come by my blog and check it out.

    Have a great weekend! ~MaryMarsh

  2. that is so true.. I think I still have a box of rolls of film that I never developed.. *sad* now I can take hundreds of pictures a day and post them up for thousands of people from all over the world to see.. in seconds. Amazing! Some day I may even learn to take good pictures.

  4. I just recently found a roll of film that got forgotten. I'm going to go ahead and take it in to be developed and see what's on it. :)
Be very careful of what you say in your descriptions and such of your pics on flickr. There's been a lot of discussion in the forums about people's accounts just being deleted w/o warning on flickr because of mentioning the item is for sale or check out my etsy store. So far the consensus is you can tag with etsy and have a link in your profile, but that seems to be all. I'll have to look for you on flickr. I'm KayzKreationz on flickr, too.

  5. Wow Kay, I had no idea! I totally have a "for sale" folder and a "sold" folder and I have links to the items. I didn't read any rules, oops! I better go work on that because I don't want to be deleted eep! Thanks for the warning! I'll look for you too! :)
